We built Welcome Home Club because finding a house and feeling at home are two different things.
When we moved to Livermore, we wanted to know the people around us—not just recognize them from across the street. We wished there were more welcoming opportunities to meet our neighbors, discover local places, and build real relationships.
As parents, we’ve felt how hard that can be. Between work, childcare, and everyday responsibilities, getting out and meeting people takes more planning than we’d like. We wanted simple opportunities to show up, bring the kids, and get to know people.
But that desire for connection isn’t unique to parenthood. Whether you’re new to town, raising a family, becoming an empty nester, or simply looking for more connection, everyone deserves to feel like they belong.
We bring different experiences, but share a belief in helping people find their footing. Welcome Home Club brings together Kat’s personal guidance around homeownership and Manny’s experience bringing people together—with belonging at the heart of it all.
We’re creating the kind of community we wished we’d found when we arrived. Somewhere to meet a familiar face, discover a favorite local spot, ask a question, or enjoy an afternoon together.

Meet Kat
Personal guidance for the journey home.
Kat has spent 17 years helping people navigate buying and owning a home. Through Atlantic Pacific Funding, she helps people understand their financing options—including when their circumstances don’t fit a traditional bank’s requirements.
Her approach starts with listening. You don’t need to arrive knowing mortgage terminology or which loan to ask for. She helps you understand the possibilities and offers personal guidance throughout the process.
With Welcome Home Club, she’s bringing that same care to a community where people can ask questions, find support, and feel welcome before and after getting the keys.

Manny is a founder, university recruiter, professional speaker, and content creator. He has hosted more than 100 virtual and in-person events for over 50,000 people, including founders, investors, tech professionals, students, and interns.
Through Founders & Friends, he brings people with ideas together with people who have experience, resources, and connections. He also creates content about startups and early career opportunities, has been a guest on multiple podcasts, and speaks at conferences, including MPACE.
He brings that same purpose to Welcome Home Club: making it easier to meet people, build relationships, and find your community.
